Location is good, and I found the staff to be nice and friendly. And room was clean,
Not much to complain about, only there was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom,

We stayed at City Lodge Accommodation and had a fantastic experience. the room was comfortable and perfect for solo travelers like us. the double bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower provided plenty of hot water. the shared area downstairs was amazing, with a large kitchen, dining area, and even entertainment options like table tennis and a pool table. the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. the location was excellent, with shops, bus, and ferry stations within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊.

City lodge was great. The room rates were very reasonable and the overall standard was fantastic. I certainly wouldn't put it in a backpackers category, it was far more than that. The kitchen facilities are brilliant and staff bend over backwards to be helpful. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of city lodge. People are supposed to clean up their own mess if they use the kitchen facilities, but they don't always. However, staff ensured the kitchen was spotless. The only quibble I have was that you had to pay for parking. However this was competitively priced.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices. The attention to detail is evident in the clean and well-maintained rooms, which offer a great forest view. The location is very convenient, being near the city center and close to everything. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service.
No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

The staff are very friendly and it rubs off on the guests who all greet you in the lift! Very nice! Clean perfectly acceptable rooms, good kitchen facilities and nice to see all the emphasis on recycling and environmental care. Great for proximity to the city. As a solo female traveller I felt safe there. Keep it cheap, clean and friendly and I'll keep coming!
If I am being picky the lift is a bit slow.

The lady at the front desk was really nice means a lot to be welcomed with a smile, also from the outside the building is tidy and very smart in it's design and was happy to see that it was the same in side, very smart very clean and tidy. My stay at city lodge was very comfortable the room was clean and tidy the grounds were clean and tidy and the price was very good, but the icing on the cake for me was they have parking! which you need to reserve at a small cost. Credit to the whole team at city lodge keep up the good work. Im a fan and would stay again cheers.

This hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is superb, close to the shops on Queen Street, the Sky Tower bus terminal, and situated in a quiet area of downtown Auckland. The staff provide excellent service and the rooms are equipped with basic amenities, including a comfortable queen size bed and a wardrobe at the end. I also appreciated the breakfast provided.
No improvement necessary, everything was okay.

Clean and efficent
1. It would be nice if there were scales to weigh your luggage; with the airlines rules being so draconian these days it would have been useful and it was obvious were not the first people to request scales. 2. We had been traveling for a month and were looking forward to watching international and US news for a few hours and were willing to pay extra for a room with a larger TV. We were VERY disappointed to find out that Sky was not available and we had only a couple of local channels.

Very friendly and welcoming staff- I met Pol. He gave me all relevant info at check-in.
Only problem was noise from late night traffic and revellers on a Fri/Sat evening. Even with windows closed the side of the building my room was located in had excess noise.
